ABSTRACT
The article discusses the place social media plays in the financial services industry. Information is provided on how executives can use social media as a way to build business relations. Benefits which social media can give to a financial company are mentioned, including it being used as a showcase for a company's products and services. Suggestions are provided on steps companies should take when starting a social media website including investigating and observing several different networking websites before deciding which one to become involved with.
