ABSTRACT
The article reports on the backing off of IRG/Blackbird Capital Investments in purchasing the 106-year-old upholstery manufacturer, Norwalk Furniture Co. after Comerica Bank Inc. has declined to continue funding the company. Manufacturing operations of the company was put to a halt until the financial constraints of the company was settled as stated by a company spokesperson. Joe Mosbrook, former spokesman of Norwalk stated that the deal will not materialize if things did not go as planned.
