The article reports on the efforts of indies or independent film companies in the U.S. that are not associated with an established studio to sell their products despite the lack of money. It notes that the lack of money forces indies to innovate and seek cheap ways to sell their products with traditional media tools. The use of media in marketing the films such as the television, Internet and mobile devices are also accounted.
