ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the new generation of long-range strike weapons, using a high-Mach approach, high-G manoeuvres or a near-vertical descent. The P-15 of the Egyptian Navy is presented as the first of such missiles used in combat. Other similar weapons are described used by other countries and regions, such as the AM39 Exocet of Argentina, the CSS-N-1/-2 Scrubbrush, CSS-C-2 Silkworm and -C-3 Seersucker of China, and the laser-homing Naval Lahat of Israel, among others.
