ABSTRACT
The article announces the delay in the development of Summerlin Centre project under the mall developer General Growth Properties. It reports that the delay will be at least 12 months and officials from General Growth Properties declined an interview, though they discussed the subject during a conference call with investment analysts. It also mentions that the developer is facing billions of dollars in debt maturities later in 2008. The mall was reportedly to open in 2009 with Crate & Barrel and Nordstrom as anchor tenants.
