It is stated that University of Toronto Libraries is Canada's biggest library collection with increasing numbers of media materials and digitized titles. The members of the libraries are employing digitization as a method of preservation to create contents of several items widely available. They also instituted a Preservation Endowment Fund to compensate for some in-house preservation activities.
