ABSTRACT
The article presents information related to people management in Great Britain. Sixteen finalists have made it through to the final stages of the 2008 People Management Award, which recognises outstanding practice in people management and development. "Succession planning--feeding your talent pipeline" is the topic to be debated at a forthcoming special interest forum meeting of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
