Discusses statistics released by the Canadian Institute for Health Information regarding trends in the number of health care workers in different provinces. Decrease in the per capita rate of nursing personnel and physicians between the years 1988 and 1997; Increase in the number of chiropractors and dental hygienists for the same period.
