ABSTRACT
The article announces the acquisition of engine valve business of Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. by Eaton Corporation. Automotive Group chief executive officer, Joseph P. Palchak, states that the acquisition will enable Eaton to use their global resources to meet the demands of their domestic Indian costumers, allows expansion opportunities and as well as experienced workforce. The acquisition involves the employment of approximately 500 people in India with about $5 million sales in 2007.
