The article reports that Detroit 3 comprising Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Corp., moved their production tools from the bankrupt plastic-trim supplier Progressive Molded Products Inc., to more stable suppliers. It is mentioned that the carmakers' top priority in choosing suppliers may be shifting from price to financial stability. Rather than supporting smaller suppliers that offer lower prices, they may be favoring larger suppliers.
