This article features the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas. The museum was opened as the Admiral Nimitz Museum in 1967. The main galleries comprise an exhibition space, including the refurbished hotel and the George H. W. Bush Gallery. Between the two galleries, the Veterans' Walk of Honor and Wall Memorial and the Japanese Garden of Peace venerate Pacific War veterans.
