Project to Restore Hougoumont, Farm at the Heart of Waterloo

This article reports on the launch of Project Hougoumont by military historians in Great Britain in 2008. The fund-raising effort aims to restore the Belgian farm complex central to the British victory at Waterloo. The project chair is Richard Holmes. Among those endorsing the effort is Arthur Wellesley, 8th Duke of Wellington.
