ABSTRACT
This article reports on the plan to dedicate the Pentagon Memorial in Virginia to the people killed when terrorists crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the west facade in September 2008. The site centers on memorial benches inscribed with the name of each victim. Benches for the 125 victims inside the Pentagon face the building, while those for the 59 jet passengers face the sky.
