ABSTRACT
The article reports on the construction of the $72.6-million, seven-building RTC Bus Maintenance facility by Sletten Construction in southwest Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008. A 82,630-square-feet maintenance building for servicing the 300 bus and paratransit vehicles is part of the project. It will also feature a fare retrieval building, four-bay bus wash area and fueling operations. About 225 people will be employed during the peak of construction activity.
