ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the $153.7 million critical civil site improvements over a 70-acre area along the former Russell Road performed by McCarthy Building Cos. in preparation for the Terminal 3 building of McCarran International Airport in Nevada. McCarthy is planning to install 350 anchor bolt assemblies atop the slab and grade beam foundation as connection points for the vertical steel of the terminal. The building will have its own security check points, baggage claim and parking, among others.
