ABSTRACT
The article reports on the 2008 Green Awards "Owner of the Year" recipient The Winning Combination (TWC) Construction in Henderson, Nevada. It is indicated that the general contracting firm is the brainchild of Andrew Lessman and Matthew Ryba and is considered as a pioneer when it comes to green building in Southern Nevada. A building created back in 2004 features solar power installation worth $2 million which can save 30,215 barrels of crude oil for its life cycle. Other achievements by the company such as the LaPour Corporate Center are mentioned.
