Las Vegas Business Press (10712186);8/11/2008, Vol. 25 Issue 32, p16
The article reports on the planned reopening of the 31st floor of the Monte Carlo resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2008, a rooftop fire shut down the Strip resort for three weeks and parent company MGM Mirage took away its parking garage, tearing it down to make room for a larger parking facility it will share with CityCenter. Due to all the interruptions, Monte Carlo is down 14 percent in cash flow through June 2008.
