The article presents officers of flag rank, general officers, and senior enlisted leaders of the U.S. Coast Guard on active as of July 11, 2008. Admiral officers includes Thad W. Allen, Commandant, Robert J. Papp Jr. Commander, Atlantic Area and Commander of Defense Force East, and David P. Pekoske, Commander, Pacific Area and Commander of Fefense Force West. Officers for Vice Admirals include Vivien S. Crea, Vice Commandant and Clifford I. Pearson, Chief of Staff.
