The article offers information on the Staff Audit Practice Alert No. 2 issued by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in the U.S. The Practice Alert was issued in light of the effectiveness of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Statement No. 157 and the Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 101.
