Cable triples telcos' Q2 broadband adds

The article reports that top cable operators have added 671,426 broadband subscribers in the second quarter of 2008 in the U.S. According to Bruce Leichtman, president of Leichtman Research Group (LRG), the net broadband additions in the quarter were the fewest of any quarter in the past seven years. In addition, the total broadband additions in the quarter amounted to only 51% of those added in the second quarter of 2007.
