The article recommends several rose varieties for 2009. Legends is a ruby red hybrid tea rose with immense petals. Cinco de Mayo is a Floribunda whose flowers blend the smoked lavender and rusty red orange colors. The Carefree Spirit is a vigorous, disease-resistant, heavy-blooming shrub rose with a well-branched habit and healthy foliage.
