Simmons Analysis: Books Mostly Bought One by One

The article presents the national consumer survey of Simmons Market Research Bureau on the number of books a consumer purchased over the previous 12 months in the U.S. It reveals that the largest group of book buyers purchase only between one and five books every year while there are only 14.1% who bought six and nine paperbacks. An analysis on the impact of the final Harry Potter title on the groups of buyers is included.
