ABSTRACT
The article focuses on Intel Corp.'s first Larrabee, a graphic processing unit-based product. The company informs that initial product implementations of the Larrabee architecture will target graphics applications, run existing games and programs, and support a range of highly parallel applications including scientific and engineering software. The product also includes a new approach to the software rendering 3-D pipeline and performance analysis for several applications.
