ABSTRACT
This article reports that HSBC India is rewarding recruitment consultants to hire more women as part of its diversity strategy in 2008. The bank will offer financial incentives for sourcing female candidates at senior and middle management levels. It is noted that expectations regarding gender diversity will be built into the company's contracts with recruitment consultants.
