The article presents the stories of Jeff Budzinski, senior account executive at air conditioning company Carrier Corp. and Stacey Wedding, owner of Professionals in Philanthropy, who previously experienced workplace issues due to their health conditions. Wedding, a type 1 diabetic for nearly her entire life, said she always tells her employers about the diabetes. Budzinski, meanwhile, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes after gaining weight and had gastric bypass surgery. His boss begun to question his physical fitness from a workplace safety standpoint.
