ABSTRACT
The article focuses on personnel changes in UMC Inc. Jackson Hu has resigned as chairman and chief executive of UMC. It is reported that Hu will pursue a role as a senior advisor to the company. Stan Hung has been elected as chairman and Shih-Wei Sun will take over the position of chief executive. Hu stated that during his service at UMC, he has been impressed by the professionalism and dedication involved in the organization.
