ABSTRACT

Las Vegas households become more vulnerable to discretionary spending as the U.S. Consumer Price Index posted a 216.6 increase in May 2008. According to estimates of the Southern Nevada Water Authority, around 184.1 billion gallons of water will be consumed by users in its service region in 2008. The caseload for the Statewide Trial Court of Nevada increased by roughly 11.4 percent at 1.27 million cases during fiscal year 2007.
