ABSTRACT
The article reports on the significance of forensic information technology (IT) to maintain competitive advantage. It reveals that the value of forensic IT in rebuilding the sales ledger and its subsequent recovery cannot be underestimated, while printed documents comprise only 0.003% of the total production of original information. It notes that electronic storage is the largest medium for storing information and is growing year on year.
