ABSTRACT
The article reports that Essar Oil is planning to set up a petrochemicals facility at its refinery complex at Vadinar in Gujarat, India. The petrochemical project is expected to help Essar to utilize the naphtha production in tapping further opportunities. Naresh Nayyar, managing director, said the company was considering a proposal for use of naphtha to be produced by the Vadinar refinery. It notes the steady progress being made by Essar towards achieving financial closure for the refinery expansion project.
