ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the Indian valve industry. Particular focus is given to previous trends in the industry, including the valve selection process. Changes in the industry include its global transition, emergence of newer valve technologies as a replacement for conventional globe valves, and a shift towards the cage design valves. The industry's competitiveness was influenced by the investment in manufacturing capability and quality systems. Tips for achieving success in the market are also provided.
