ABSTRACT
This article offers a look at nano innovations and techniques for the distillation process. Particular focus is given to the advantages of membrane distillation techniques over conventional evaporation and distillation processes. Membrane modules and electric pumps are the primary equipment used in membrane processes. The steps involved in the distillation process of saline water are also provided, along with the opportunity presented by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling.
