The article offers guidelines in producing a precast concrete products during cold-weather in the U.S. It states that cold-weather concreting practices need to be addressed in order for precast manufacturers to produce quality products that meet specifications. It also notes that the guidelines include planning, protection during "non-cold" weather seasons, concrete temperature, temperature insights, exposure and slump. A chart for the recommended concrete temperature is also presented.
