Valley home sales climb 29.2% in May

The article reports on the 29.2% improvement in home sales in Nevada, according to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR). A total of 23.348 homes were listed for sale in May 2008 which represent a 1.3% increase from 2007. According to GLVAR president Patty Kelly, the trend is a positive sign for the local economy as home sales begin to move because of a 28.5% discount.
