ABSTRACT
The article reports developments in the flexible display market worldwide. It is stated that the flexible displays are playing an increasingly important role in the global high-technology industry. It is a crucial enabling technology for a new generation of portable devices that are designed to combine mobility with compelling user interfaces. It is forecasted by iSuppli Corp. that the total flexible display market will reach $2.8 billion by 2013. It is a 35-time expansion from about $80 million in 2007.
