The article reports that Ashforth Co. in Stamford, Connecticut has become the first real-estate company in the state to adopt an energy-reduction program promulgated BOMA International. The energy reduction plan includes an energy audit, comparing energy and water use against federal Energy Star benchmarks, and providing options for tenants exploring their environmental alternatives.
