ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the air-cleaning technology used by the Delaware Biotechnology Institute (DBI). Robert Pekala, engineering and operations manager for DBI, selected the UVC Emitters, an ultraviolet germicidal radiation manufactured by Steril-Aire Inc., for the added protection needed by the institute working with General Aire Systems Inc. General Aire carried out the installation of UVC lamps reducing pressure drop across coils and increasing net cooling capacity.
