ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition by particleboard and wood products producer Uniboard Canada of ATC Panels' facility in Moncure, North Carolina. The facility has almost 160 workers and produces 156 million square feet of particleboard and thermofused melamine board each year. Uniboard plans to invest over $120 million in 2009 in the plant, setting up a medium-density and high-density fiberboard line.
