Centrica buys gas interests in Norway

The article reports that Centrica had reached agreement to acquire interests in a package of non-operating gas and oil assets from Marathon Oil in Norway for £190 million. The agreement will see the parent of British Gas acquiring interests in the Heimdal area of the Norwegian North Sea, which includes producing fields, discoveries and exploration prospects.
