ABSTRACT
The article discusses the independent-living services offered by Virginia Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) program. The VR&E offers vocational and educational counseling services to assist eligible veterans who are limited by severity of their service-connected disability, to participate in family and community life, as well as to increase the possibility to return to their former work. Other services and the Individualized Independent Living Plan (IILP) are also discussed.
