ABSTRACT

A buying consortium called Advantage GPO was established by the American Hardware Manufacturers Association (AHMA) which is intended to increase the profitability of its members by lowering the cost of raw materials. Ford Motor Co. will invest $10 million to increase production at its plant in Haiduong, Vietnam. A new plant was opened by industrial equipment manufacturer Atlas Copco in Shanghai, China.
