A cross-border cooperation protocol was signed by Belarus and Poland which is expected to help promote economic relationships between the two states. The stock of gross external debt continued to increase during the first quarter of 2008 with the liability totaling to €168.9 billion and increasing by 26.3% year-on-year. Digital satellite television provider Cyfrowy Polsat will start its mobile virtual network operations in July 2008.
