ABSTRACT
The article reports the launch of miSoul technology, a customizable and interchangeable modular insole/midsole system from K-Swiss Inc. The technology will first be offered in performance tennis shoes in January 2009, and in performance running shoes the following month. According to David Bond, vice president of footwear at K-Swiss, the miSoul technology is a totally new way of making shoes, and it features the first true, customizable insoles.
