ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the three literary subgenres including paranormal, vampire and werewolf. The subcategory vampires has been played over the entire time period then increasing 38% in 2006, 72% in 2007 and up to 50% in 2008. The paranormal label has changed nearly 60% in 2008 while werewolves is on track to at least equal 2007. Stephenie Meyer is famous writer of paranormal fiction, Laurell K. Hamilton is outstanding on the vampire titles while Patricia Briggs is for werewolf themes.
