ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the sales performance of the plumbing, heating, cooling, piping industry wholesalers in the U.S. and Canada in 2007. According to some estimates, depending on their mix and location, sales for plumbing wholesalers in 2007 decreased from 5% to 15%. Acquisition took place in 2007, but companies also downsized to reduce overhead costs. Combined sales for the companies listed as the Premier 150 were about U.S. $39.8 billion in 2007.
