ABSTRACT
The article reports on the importance of the automated data collection systems to service centers. It mentions the most common problems for service centers are data-entry errors, lost sales, and higher costs and these problems can only be resolve using with the said systems. Moreover, automated data collection helps to eliminate errors and inefficiencies in the warehouse cost a service center valuable soft profits.
