ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the adoption of the evidence-based health care design in hospitals, which promotes therapeutic, supportive and efficient environments. To be able to develop an appropriate solution to design problems, designers from the Center for Health Design, a nonprofit organization have worked with clients to make the decision. Evidence-based health care design should be aimed at improving the organization's clinical outcomes, economic performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
