ABSTRACT
The article reports that Invitrogen selected Novell's SUSE Linux Enterprise to be the core operating platform for the standardization and virtualization of the company's servers. The SUSE Linux Enterprise will help Invitrogen reduce server licensing costs and the migration from Windows and UNIX servers to Linux and virtualize with support on the VMware platform. John Merritt, system architect at Invitrogen, commented that the SUSE Linux Enterprise is the most cost-effective and flexible operating system among Linux distributions.
