Nieman Reports;Summer2008, Vol. 62 Issue 2, p4
The article focuses on David Shribman, Executive Editor of "The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette" newspaper. Shribman, a former political reporter, has told his staff its political coverage must first be aimed at the publication's Web site, with newspaper coverage a secondary priority. Shribman states that this is a necessity, since the Web site's audience continues to grow as the newspaper's circulation declines.
