ABSTRACT
The article presents the case of a 29-year-old woman who underwent total thyroidectomy supplemented with general and local anaesthesia. The surgery was performed with bilateral cervical plexus block and intravenous sedation. The general anaesthetics control the perioperative complications, and ensure that the patients could tolerate the prolonged extension of head and neck.
