ABSTRACT
The article presents a study which assesses the efficacy of angiotensin II-receptor blockers on 18 pediatric patients with Marfan's syndrome and severe root enlargement. The rates of change in aortic root diameter before and after the treatment were evaluated. The study reveals that angiotensin II-receptor blockers reduce the progression of aortic dilation.
